Access Consultant, Livable Housing Registered Assessor, Accredited SDA Assessor

With a background in occupational therapy, Wendy began access consulting in 2015.

Wendy consults on a wide variety of projects, including residential apartment buildings, retail and commercial premises, Livable Housing and Specialist Disability Accommodation housing, childcare centres, schools, seniors living developments, aged care facilities, community buildings, playgrounds and civic upgrade projects.

After qualifying as an Occupational Therapist in 2008, Wendy held positions in the Upper Hunter of NSW and in Sydney, including employment with NSW Health and an aged care provider. She understands the accessibility needs of people with a disability based on her work with people of all ages, ranging from children to older adults, including those who have a physical disability or mental health condition.

Wendy has completed further study to obtain a Certificate IV and Diploma in Access Consulting. She holds a Bachelor of Occupational Therapy, is an accredited member of the Association of Consultants in Access, Australia, a Livable Housing Registered Assessor, and an Accredited SDA Assessor.
